Softball America by Rule42 was on site at The Yard PNW Fall Invitational in Centralia, Washington this past weekend. The Northwest Bullets and ai Bandits, the two premier travel ball teams of the Pacific Northwest had plenty of players to keep an eye on.

Jenn Salling, who has joined Rule42 as an affiliate scout, provided the scouting notes. Salling has a long resume of success in the sport as a former All-American, Olympic Bronze medalist, Division I assistant coach and AUSL facilitator.

Tenley Jukkala

Jukkala is an elite multi-sport athlete in softball and basketball, with a strong, durable frame and plus power, speed, and arm strength. Amelia Bouska

Presley Ricksger

A projectable multi-sport athlete in softball and volleyball, Ricksger pairs a strong athletic profile with defensive versatility, playing primarily second base. Her plus raw power plays against elite velocity: she drove a 68 MPH fastball into the right-center field gap for a double and showed legitimate pull-side home run power to left field. An above-average runner, she is aggressive and instinctive on the bases, including a successful steal of third base on a fake bunt.

Presley Umbdenstock

Makenzie Guerin

Guerin is an athletic middle infield prospect with experience at shortstop who primarily plays second base. A natural defensive mover, she shows coordinated hands and feet, fluid movement patterns, and efficient timing through her fielding and throwing transitions. Addison Seymer

Spin efficiency and consistency remain areas of development, though her curveball showed notable improvement in spin and movement, and her changeup, still developing, was more consistent in execution. She is an elite competitor with a vocal, high-energy presence in the circle.

Bui is an athletic catching prospect with plus arm strength and elite receiving skills, consistently handling 68 MPH fastballs in the dirt with ease. Her natural defensive instincts show in how she commands the game, communicating with confidence and purpose. Offensively, she is an impact prospect with elite swing mechanics, plus power, and consistent gap-to-gap production.

Manamea Laban

Laban is an outfield/first base prospect with plus-plus power and plus running ability. Her offensive profile carries real impact, highlighted by a 75–80 MPH exit velocity on a ball driven up the middle. She also shows above-average plate discipline, combining power, speed, and offensive upside.
