2028 Four-star recruit Kyrinn Vaughan is headed to Oregon State. The Texas based outfielder announced her pledge on Monday.
“Oregon State is building something very special, and I’m honored they asked me to be a part of it. As an outfielder, I can’t wait to learn from the best, Coach Laura Berg.
“The campus is beautiful, and the entire coaching staff immediately made me feel at home. Everything felt perfect! I’m so excited to be an Oregon State Beaver."
Vaughn, the 47th-ranked player by Softball America, plays the outfield like she’s late for something. A scrappy, explosive presence, she runs on instinct, turning a hint of daylight into a stolen base and chasing down balls in either gap with equal conviction. At the plate, a level swing path gives her the freedom to adjust her timing mid-at-bat, staying on pitches long enough to make the pitcher pay for guessing wrong.
