Larissa Anderson and Missouri have had a quick start to their 2028 recruiting class. The Tigers landed a four-star battery to open the recruiting cycle.
Four-star catcher Keke Jordan and left-handed pitcher Jaeda Tucker announced their commitments to Missouri this week. Jordan is currently ranked 117th overall and the 17th-best catcher in a strong catching class.
"I chose Mizzou because it just felt right. I loved the coaches, the team, and the atmosphere," Jordan told Softball America. "At camp, I noticed how much the coaches paid attention and gave me feedback right away. They pointed out things my trainers have been working on with me, too. I knew they were coaches who would push me and help me develop.
"The players genuinely had fun together while still taking the game seriously — that was a whole vibe for me. I want to compete at the highest level, and I feel like Mizzou is the place for me to grow, both on and off the field. I'm so excited for this next chapter."
Jordan, who comes from the Impact Gold organization, is a plus power-hitting catcher with a big bat. She hits for contact up the middle and turns on the ball to pull for power. Behind the plate, her quick release and plus arm strength let her shut down the run game.
Tucker is a product of the Fury Platinum organization and is ranked 144th overall. She provides spin and a curveball with late break from the left side. She can move the ball around the zone and mix in an off-speed pitch to keep hitters off balance. Both Jordan and Tucker hail from Tennessee.
