On Tuesday, we unveiled our latest Top 150 rankings update with a new, improved format to highlight the softball stars of the future. Texas Bombers star Michaela Landers comes in as our top-rated prospect. She is an elite athlete with high-level international experience. A true 5-tool player, has elite arm action, plus-plus arm strength, quick reactions on defense, and plus-plus range. At the plate, she has power and speed with the ability to hit the ball with home run power to all fields and steal bases.
Kylie Holden from the Unity organization and Beverly Bandits two-way Sophia Schlader are right behind her as premier players in their class as well.
In total, there are 16 five-star athletes in this latest update, including multiple athletes from different teams: Caelyn Campos and Sydney Root from OC Batbusters; Ryann Harris and Joley Bennett from Texas Bombers; Kate McCartney and Emma Johnson from Lady Magic; and Makenzie Thomas and Khloe Williams from Impact Gold.
