The Lady Vols keep adding talent. Coming into the week, Tennessee already had one of the best 2028 recruiting classes thus far, but now it’s even better. On Sunday, four-star pitcher Megan Kuiper announced her verbal commitment to Karen Weekly’s program.

“Rocky Top felt like home the moment I stepped on campus,” she told Softball America. “The welcoming community, the beauty of Knoxville, the legacy of Tennessee softball, the chance to compete at the highest level, and the people I met along the way made this an easy decision.”

Kuiper pairs confidence with real vertical movement, living at both the top and bottom of the zone. The riseball generates plenty of swing-and-miss, and she held 65-67 mph from first pitch to last. Her delivery is deceptive: hitters can’t get a clean look at her grip or release point.

The Iowa Premier star joins five-star recruits Caelyn Campos and Regan Eldred, as well as Kenzie White, Nevaeh Wilson and Sophia Galindo. Kuiper, who ranks 40th overall, marks Tennessee’s fourth commitment inside the Top 40 players of the Softball America rankings.
