Texas Tech is adding more talent for the future after the Red Raiders landed their second and third five-star recruits on Wednesdday. Impact Gold teammates Makenzie Thomas and Khloe WIlliams announced her commitment to Texas Tech.
Thomas is a power-hitting shortstop with high-level bat-to-ball skills and raw offensive power. Thomas has solid defensive skills, with the ability to move to a corner position at the next level. She has the potential to be a force in the middle of the offensive lineup.
Williams is a high-level prospect with a strong frame. She is most comfortable on the right side of the field. Can play outfield and first base with a plus arm and power in her bat. There is a lot of room to grow with an already elite level start.
Texas Tech already had a pledge from five-star outfielder Star Gutierrez, the 12th-ranked prospect in 2028.
